For this action packed tour I had the opportunity to create a number of 3D models for different environments and work on special effects. However, what was most exciting for me was working on the Octopus Tank look where I had to opportunity to help IMMANENT design the Tank holding back the octopus as well as key frame the lighting design in Unreal Engine.
To begin this look, I proposed three different animated concept diagrams for what the tank would look like using Blender.

After the 8 sided tank was selected, I began the process of adding details based on revision notes from IMMANENT. While adding detail, I made sure UVs were optimized for Unreal Engine, and different objects were given different material layers to help with materials and texturing.

In Unreal Engine I was able to work extensively on the lighting design for the Octopus Tank. Lights were key framed to the varying sounds within the electronic music track.
Kaiju Battle

For the epic Kaiju Battle visual, I kit bashed the city buildings together in Blender, exported it into Unreal Engine, and made sure material layers were set up to work well in Unreal. IMMANENT used these assets and took this visual to another level!
DBZ

For this DBZ inspired work, I helped out by creating a number of effects for power ups and punch impacts. The yellow vertical power-ups in the sky were created using a Niagara System in UE. Other effects utilized special effects packs from the UE marketplace and were modified to fit the scene.
