MATCHBOX TWENTY
Slow Dream Tour
In collaboration with RAW CEREAL
For Matchbox Twenty’s latest tour I was asked to create looks for the songs, “Disease” as well as “Queen of New York City”. Each of these looks were placed behind a mesh dome in order to give the appearance of a dreamlike state of thought behind the artists playing.
Blender was used to create an undulating disease like form for this high energy song.
The Queen of NYC visuals relied heavily on experimenting with color and masking tools in Adobe After Effects to create a collage of warped faces in NYC environments utilizing stock footage.
